This Primitive Federal styled cedar and brick 3200 square foot historical home was built in 1862 as John H. Bacon’s Bayview Cottage. The entry foyer has the original 18th century hand made black walnut staircase with chestnut treads and transom over door. The first floor kitchen 20 x 10 has hand framed cabinets refurbished distressed, 2 inch cherry wood countertop, knotty pine floor, a stainless gas range with oven, and dishwasher. There is a 14 x 16 formal dining room with a 10’ ceiling and a 9” triple window with views of the natural surroundings. The gracious living room is 20 x 14 and includes a primitive colonial brick fireplace with special trim. There is also a laundry closet on this level.

The second floor has 4 large bedrooms and a separate guest room with a 15 x 13 full ceramic tiled bath. The master bedroom with a bay view measures 20 x 18 with a 14 x 14 office that may be easily converted to a master bath. Two other bedrooms measure 14 x 13.
