When we moved to Kansas City five years ago we looked at lots of homes. When we walked into this house, we knew we were home!

We're located in an area that is popular because it's so conveniently located and is in the Blue Valley School district. We're minutes away from the Sprint Headquarters and Menora Medical Center.

This is an inviting home previously owned by an interior decorator. She did a beautiful job decorating this house! It has a country french flair.

The first floor is all hardware floors with the exception of the formal living and dining rooms. There's Crown moldings and built ins.

The pool is an inground gunite play pool Play pool just means that it's not a diving pool. You can put a volleyball net over the pool and have a great time and plenty of room for everyone. Or, you can just float around on a raft and feel the tranquil motion of the water.

While we're in the backyard, there's a large landscaped/grassy area separated from the pool by wrought iron fencing. The backyard has Walnut, Bradford Pear, Austrian Pines and other perennial plantings that provide color to the yard from spring until winter. There is also a sprinkler system and some landscape lighting.

Back in the house and moving upstairs you'll find the bedrooms and the laundry room. The laundry room has cabinets and a folding counter. No more lugging the laundry up and down stairs!

Two of the bedrooms share a Jack & Jill bath. One bedroom is self-contained with it's own bath and walk-in closet. The master is large and has a master bath with double sinks, corner shower and jacuzzi tub. The walk in closet has built-ins. The master bedroom and bath have wood blinds. All of the bedrooms are a good size and have ample closet space.

Moving to the finished daylight basement you'll find the game/play room, a work/exercise room (or fifth bedroom,) full bath, cedar closet, large storage area with shelving, three additional closets/storage areas. One unfinished that would be perfect for a potential wine cellar. The floors are covered with Berber carpeting.

Storage is important to me and this house has wonderful storage!
